Stiefern

The slope where this KGA once stood has been terraced for agricultural use, the double ditch system was partially destroyed, and the original orientation (or aspect) of the slope cannot be given. We can still see three entrances. Those with azimuths 249° and 357° don’t seem to offer a meaningful astronomical explanation, while the entrance towards 148°, in combination with the very high horizon (currently hidden behind trees, but 11° was deduced from the digital elevation model), would have fit to the winter solstice sunrise direction.
